Mango and Salt: 2015

Oh I love that moment when the hour of discoveries and favorites of the moment has come! As always, I have a lot of things to show you: the organic or natural products, brands which we sometimes hear much about, and one or two essential of my bathroom. I hope you enjoy it!

♡ Bio Seasons

During my last command Ecco Verde, I cracked on the gourmet product packaging Bio Seasons, a French brand certified organic and EcoCert that offers quite nice and natural compositions for very small price. In my cart, I put two shower gels (orange blossom and coconut Monoi-) and a shampoo for normal hair with mango and grapefruit.Shower gels seem pretty good, although I am disappointed-Coco Monoi fragrance that feels neither one nor the other (we perceive only a small vanilla smell, but especially that of the washing base). The shampoo however is really nice, with a tangy fruity fragrance more pleasant, although it remains discreet enough, and a "light hair" result as I love them.

♡ Déodorant Schmidt’s

You probably know, I am a follower of natural deodorants recent years. Although I have found some very good products, there is always something wrong: the Soapwalla was a little irritating strength and turned too fast, and Lavanila, my big darling, is unfortunately impossible to find in Europe. I therefore give a chance right now to Schmidt's deodorant, I hear a lot of good for several months. To begin, I chose the version without perfume, which will minimize the risk of allergy. The texture is very strange, thick and brittle, which means the kneading her fingers for a moment before you can apply it on the skin. Not what is most convenient, but if the product works, it does not bother me! I will keep you informed of my test if you are interested.

♡ Gel Douche Mixa

I had already shown you in another installment of Beauty Discoveries, but here again, because I have redeemed giant screen: Soothing Shower-care without soap for sensitive skin of Mixa is an absolute wonder . Besides his own composition generally more than what we find in other brands of large area, I appreciate its softness on my skin dry and most of all, her baby scent, so comforting. When I use it, I spend the day sniffing my arms, just for fun. If you like the scent of clean and childish universe (type Tartine & Chocolat etc ...), throw a glance!

♡ Mineral Makeup A

We spoke recently of my discovery of mineral makeup products through Alima Pure, references in the field. A me afterwards also sent its foundation version 100% mineral, I discovered these days, and it is clear that I love his review! More transparent but equally unifying the Alima Pure, I find her very bright indeed, and almost more natural than the latter (obviously, since there is less coverage!), Corresponding to hair cell what I want lately. Only downside, there are fewer colors available.

♡ Spray cheveux PINK by Victoria’s Secret

It's been ten days that I'm stranded on my salty spray Master of Iodine at Lush, indispensable ally after each session to shampoo my hair dry with well defined loops (and a sublime scent of orange blossom). Who have not yet had the opportunity to buy the store, I decided to test a spray effect Shoppe beach last year at Victoria's Secret, especially for packaging. If it is less powerful in terms of fixing the Lush or the Bumble & Bumble (it is more like that of Not Your Mother's home), I find it really quite effective and above all, so, more discreet. Unable to create packages in the hair as fogging is fine! Unfortunately, her perfume very sweet fruit-coconut-vanilla sickens me a bit and do not correspond at all to my taste at the time. Maybe he'll have to gives him a chance this summer!

♡ Soap Dr. Bronner Lavender

I'm still a follower of Dr. Bronner liquid soap, which I told you about last year. My favorite small, the lavender, returns regularly in my bathroom: it is perfect for hands, body, to clean a stain on the fabric, and it is also the product that I carry when traveling (I pour a small amount into one of my empty mini-bottles). Natural, basic, effective, I could not ask for better!

♡ Miniatures Aroma-Zone

I love the miniature formats in Aroma-Zone, to test the oils and butters cheaply. Papaya oil is very nice, but it's for the butter raw cocoa I funds: it literally feels chocolate, and has not been refined. What nourish the skin with relish!

♡ Baume « Amaretto » Crazy Rumors

Do you remember my love for balms Crazy Rumors? I recently fell for a new perfume, Amaretto, which smells deliciously good! I sense a very greedy bitter almond, sweet, almost makes me think of the cherry. Another success!

♡ Deodorant Orange Blossom Le Petit Marseillais

It is on the blog Neroli I learned of this gentle deodorant with orange flower. Mariel explained that smelled delicious, but had no efficacy. This scent is one of my favorite all over the world, I still wanted to try it myself, but I completely agree with his opinion: nonexistent protection, madness perfume. So, I found a way to use it anyway. I first performs an alum stone passage (which works well on me but has no smell), then, when it's dry, I apply this deodorant to smell good!

♡ Solvent A

Since I discovered the dissolving A last year, more than any other has value to me. This product, whose ingredients are 100% natural, is a perfect blend of effectiveness and gentleness, with a slightly less heady smell than conventional solvents. Because it is oil based, it does not dry out the nail absolutely unlike all other brands I tested, which let me also often white marks. I enjoyed my last visit to France to redeem myself, and I warmly recommend it to you all!

You know, I say often and everywhere, A Beauty is one of my darlings brands for makeup every day, both for his own compositions for rendering General of its products. I only use it on my eyes, and I am also particularly amateur its various references to the complexion, offering textures and colors very cool and easy going.

I had the pleasure last week to receive a small package containing especially some nuances of cream blushes "BigAir", on the occasion of their new packaging, to complete my collection. I know the end because my Mom uses these cases for years, even before I knew the brand in my turn; However, I had not yet had the opportunity to discover many colors.

Since it is sometimes difficult to realize colors in store or on the internet, I decided to take the opportunity to offer you some photos and swatches, and a general review of these blushes which do had not dedicated their article on this blog. I hope this is helpful!

Composition

As usual with A, the composition of these shadows is very sleek, with a beeswax, Candelilla wax, vegetable oils and butters (jojoba, sunflower seed, soya, shea ...) and rice powder, primarily colored with inorganic pigments. 100% of ingredients are of natural origin, and 10% from organic agriculture. What give us good looks smooth!

Texture et application

Blushers Grand Air are melting and fine creamy texture, while being very powdery, with an almost dull side. Among my collection, it is the less glossy, more natural rosy cheeks to imitate the fresh air.

Very easy to collect finger (my preferred method) or duo fiber brush, they fade particularly well on bare skin matte or not, just under a layer of powder or mineral foundation, although making a little careful it's entirely possible.

Colors

The range consists currently of eight different colors, softer to darker, with some very cool references. I have 5 different, I could describe as follows:

* B01 A pastel pink, pulling slightly toward the fishing, superb on fair complexions * B02 A pale pink colder, more sweet, which suits particularly well to rosé dyed * B03 An old medium pink, fairly balanced tone that nicely falls all skin colors * B04 A nice peach or orange-pink or too bright nor too light, perfect for the most golden skins * B06 A dark hot pink, pulling bricks, ideal among other dark complexions

My little darlings are those of warmer colors, especially B01, B04 and B06. This made me a little afraid at first sight (I have very pale face right now), but ultimately, applied sparingly, I find it perfect for giving me good looks, combined with a little sunbathing on as photo below.

Rendering and held

I find in these shadows rendering semi-transparent pigmented but I love about the ONE brand: they color really, but fairly, and without adding material visible on the skin. Although dimmed, the product melts completely into the skin with a natural satin finish.

Holding hand, I am delighted: on me, they largely reflect the time of day of classes or more over a light veil of mineral makeup - still knowing that I never touch my face for these hours. I have almost as fresh cheeks returning at night after having masked!

You'll understand, I find these really blushes perfect for a natural and effective results every day, and I can only recommend them. With ingredients of this quality, the price is not cheap (€ 18.50), this is their only fault - but they last a very long time, and there are often coupon on the brand website which allow to have fun cheaply.

What are your darlings products early this year?

My natural makeup brand pampers, Beauty A, now offers 4 different types of concealer. Which to choose according to his needs?

As I have copies of four versions, I thought it would be interesting to present them together and compare them to try to determine, according to my point of view, which may be better suited to that.

Some of you have pointed out to me: enough with their particular formats, it is sometimes difficult to imagine the effect of these products on the skin when one is alone in front of the radius at Monoprix or worse, before the shop in line. With any luck, today's article will educate you more!

To give you a more accurate idea of their rendering, of course I took pictures of each of them applied before my eyes. In the idea of facilitating the comparison, I tried to apply an equivalent amount (generous) of each concealer despite their different textures. Unfortunately, the brightness was not very good, and I'm not sure that the images are talking - I beg you to forgive me. It's a bit frustrating because I have spent time, I hope that you will still be a little bit helpful.

Another warning: my eyebrows are bushy total. You know from this article that I do not pluck my almost normally, which I assume completely even if it does not please everyone. But right now, I have an even wider than usual hole in the left eyebrow, which pushed me not to touch it at all for a few weeks in the hope that it manages slowly . Sorry in advance for the brow maniacs among you!

No comparison if you do not know my natural state, so here my eyes exposed. As you see, I never had a very pronounced dark circles. My only concerns are the pigmentation around the eye that gets worse when I'm tired, a little purple color in the inner corner, and a rather grainy skin with small grains of milia. Note also that I have enough creases on the lower eyelid, especially the left side, where the vast majority of file concealer systematically. Not great, but it's morphology question, I can not do much about except choose products with fine textures.

Ideal Skin Concealer youth ♡ (€ 15.90, available here)

This fluid offers a fun packaging, like a gloss. It is also enriched with hyaluronic acid and promises 8 hours of hydration for optimal comfort.

Texture: Fluid, finished with a very fresh, slightly shiny, which must eventually complete a powder veil.Very comfortable.

Coverage: Light.

Held: Good! Despite its moisturizing hand, and thanks to the great fineness of its texture, the product hardly migrate into fine lines. At home, it just mark my slightly small fold in the left eye, but again, it's inevitable. A little shading the little finger during the morning and it's settled! ;)

For whom? Those with little marked dark circles and brighten want lightness, with a very natural and fresh. Those contour dry eyes and looking for a nice product to wear that will not mark their lines.

My opinion: I really love this product because it does almost no matter deposited on the skin, which allows me to truly illuminate my dark circles without getting too visible result. I appreciate its simplicity: just spread it by tapping with the fingers, that's what I prefer! Finally, its brightness does not bother me at all, he just happen to dust lightly with mattifying powder Alima Pure if I feel the need.

♡ Concealer Stick Anti-Fatigue (€ 13.90, available here)

Conditioning as a lipstick tube, stick promises smoothing texture and a fresh blow défatiguer effect the look. The brand advises the fade a little sponge beauty blender type for a very mellow result.

Texture: Solid but creamy, with a satin finish bright enough without being brilliant. Comfortable.

Coverage: Medium, if one puts enough.

Held: Good, everything is maintained well (apart from my small folds, but again just a little fade during the day)!

For who? Those who seek comfort, freshness, a discrete outcome, but without neglecting minimal coverage.

My opinion: This is my other little darling for its also very natural. You guess I wear the concealer you? The texture is thicker than the Ideal Skin but it blends well with the skin, especially when applied to the sponge, and therefore very little mark my fine lines while smoothing my more small grains of milia. Only downside for the lazy I am: this application sponge, precisely, that is really worth in terms of rendering but is necessarily longer than fade with fingers.

♡ Concealer Light Skin Glow (€ 14.50, available here)

This is the latest addition to the brand, a product of very fine stick which replaces the old pencil of the same name.For my part I used the pencil in the lining to enlarge my eyes, but with this format, it's definitely a dyed product!Good point: with its sliding system, no need to cut it!

Texture: Very solid but creamy, with a fairly powdery finish.

Coverage: Light to medium.

Held: Good, the material adheres well to the skin. She did not file too in the folds if I stay reasonable in the amount applied and that I blend well.

For whom? Those that do not have dark circles but want to illuminate the inner corner of the eye, the brow bone, or occasionally cover a small imperfection to enlarge the eyes.

My opinion: This concealer, thanks to its solid, is more covering and efficient as I thought (unlike the finished transparent enough of a touch light like YSL). Still, the very small size of the stick clearly calls for the use on small areas only. Cover the entire underside of the eye with (as the photo below) is a bit slow and laborious. However, I find it perfect for days when you just need a small light sailing, or a specific adjustment on a small area - just the vein from the inner corner of the eye for example.

♡ Intuitive Touch Concealer BB cream (€ 17.50, available here)

This is one of the flagship products of the brand foundation, I've known for a long time. It stands as the BB cream foundation, as the housing and has the advantage of last very long.
Do not pay attention to the color that is too dark for me right now!

Texture: creamy, waxy both fairly consistent, with a matte finish.

Coverage: Medium to high, depending on the amount used.

Held: Excellent in duration! However, if like me you have a big crease under the eye, the thickness of the material requires to remain reasonable in the amount applied and fade out the area, otherwise she finds herself very marked, and the look is a little leaden.

For whom? Those with more pigmented dark circles, looking for more coverage and a powdery side.

My opinion: This concealer is undoubtedly a great product, probably the most effective of them all to hide (for example compare with the first swatch, that of Ideal Skin, no picture!). Yet it does not necessarily correspond to my expectations because for me the smoothness of the texture is more important than coverage. If I put too much material, I find the result too artificial, as shown below where I was pretty generous. Note however that it has the great advantage that it can also be used to cover pimples, unlike others that I do not find very suitable.
